Tumblr needs a trigger warning.

A trigger is something that can cause someone to want to self-harm, binge/purge, commit suicide, etc. For example, if someone who cuts themself saw a photo of scars or cuts, it could easily cause them to want to cut themself.

Triggering for any type of disorder can cause extremely dangerous behaviors. Tumblr needs a trigger warning that covers a photo. All it would need to say is “Trigger Warning.” There should be an option for the user to click a button that says “I understand, Show photo.” This way, a tumblr user wouldn’t be triggered accidentally. There should be an option for people who post the photo to add the trigger warning. Additionally, if a user does not add a trigger warning, there should be an option to report a photo and then a trigger warning could be added. This is such a simple solution that could take away so much pain. Tumblr staff, please add a trigger warning. It would make such a difference.

1: favorite candle scent: that would be apples and cinnamon or just cinnamon
6: can you do a split?: as of now… No. I used to be able to do a decent almost split.
9: how many countries have you been to?: technically(not counting stopping for flight layovers) America, Italy, Romania, Bulgaria, Barbados, France, Turkey. So… 7

13: what’s the worst grade you’ve ever got on a test: ummm… A 49 when I was in 5th grade…. But that was a quiz. As far as tests I think it is more like 79.
